mental health Resources

It can be difficult to navigate the mental healthcare system in Canada. It’s made up of a patchwork of different programs and services, some delivered publicly and others delivered privately. Determining what programs or treatments are available, the possible costs involved, and the best place to begin can feel daunting.

Here are a few mental health resources in Toronto to get started if you aren’t sure if our office is right for you. Please note that this resource list should not be considered exhaustive, search online or consult with a family member, friend, or another health professional for alternate resource recommendations. As well, since our office is not formally affiliated with these services and resources, we cannot guarantee their availability.

These resources come in many forms including printed and e-books, apps, and websites. They tend to be aimed at a wide audience and usually involve instruction and practical assignments.
